2 ^nd convocation of the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) was held here Tuesday in which 290 successful students were awarded degrees.

The chief guest of the ceremony, Federal Education Minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, congratulated the newly pass-out students and prayed a best future for them.

SZABIST President Dr. Javed Leghari said that SZABIST had gained a leading position in science and technology in a short period of span in the field of science and technology. He said that SZABIST was not only considered best ranked institute in Pakistan but also around the region. He informed the guests that the students of the institute were serving on high positions in national and multinational companies.

Dr. Azra Fazal, the Chancellor of SZABIST, said that the institute had released hundreds of students which were the asset of this country and contributing in this field. She congratulated the students who got their degrees. She said that SZABIST had proved itself a best institute of science and technology in South Asia as the faculty and the administration of SZABIST had put all out efforts to provide quality education.

Latter, 17 top position holder students in different fields were conferred with gold medals. The cheerful students lined up for group photo to make the occasion memorable at the end of the ceremony.
