Campus Life Events   Events   Archives SZABIST Farewell Party 2009 at Islamabad Club SZABIST Islamabad organized a farewell party to its MBA, BBA and BS out going students at Islamabad Club auditorium on May 31, 2009. The function was organized by MBA students, Ms. Hania Abbas and Mr. Sameer Sheikh. Students were attired in suits, saris and smashing dresses which made the environment extremely jazzy and decent. The function started with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a speech from the campus head Syed Asad Hussain. Mementos of the shape of OSCARS were prepared and presented to the students. Farewell skits and videos were presented that created a sense of gloom and touchy feelings among the students. The function also included a dinner which was attended by over 180 students / staff of the campus. It concluded at about midnight. This was the first event of SZABIST Islamabad Campus which was totally run by the students. No outside band, help or assistance was needed or included in this program. The theme, red carpeted entrance, dresses, awards and presentation skills were truly a 'touch of class'. All those who participated thoroughly enjoyed and had plenty to share and remember for the rest of their lives. SZABIST Islamabad is indebted to Ms. Hania Abbas, Mr. Sameer Sheikh and Ms. Samia Akbar for their creativity, innovativeness and dedication for organizing such a wonderful show.
