Half day Interactive Training Session on Self Employment Opportunities for Youth


In Continuation of the Public Private Partnership to promote Entrepreneurship Small and Medium Enterprises - Business Support Fund (SME-BSF) and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) organized a training workshop for youngsters aspiring to be self Employed. Main idea of the event was to provide an opportunity of interaction between students and relevant personals of different organizations, who may be willing to harness the potential of young aspiring Entrepreneurs.

Speaking on the occasion chief executive officer (CEO) SME-BSF Saquib Mohyudd said that Entrepreneurship offers brighter prospects of career of youngsters as compare to public or private sector jobs. He was of the view that it is basically the vision and creativity of the students and young professionals which can drive them towards success and prosperity through the tool of Entrepreneurship.

The training course had, Muhammad Usman A. Khan 'DGM SME' Business Support Fund, Mr. Shahzad Iqbal 'CEO Brands International', Mr. Asim Mushtaq 'GM SE Consultants', and Mr. Shahzeb CEO Hooked Technologies, who shared with the participants guidelines and information needed to become successful Entrepreneurs, where as the main contents of the workshop were ,Franchising as Entrepreneurship, Franchising Opportunities in Pakistan, Sectors offering Successes, What you need to know to begin your own successful franchise.

The event was attended by representatives of different National and International organizations included, Telenor, Agha Khan Foundation, Shifa International, Bank Alfalah , and many other private limited companies.
