Campus Life Events   Events   Archives Chancellor distributes prizes among the winners A two-day Extra Curricular Hungama was held at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Islamabad from November 8-9, 2010. Students enthusiastically participated in various sports and performing arts competitions. Chancellor SZABIST, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho was chief guest at the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Director SZABIST Islamabad, Mr. Syed Asad Hussain was also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho said that "along with quality education extra curricular activities play a vital role in personality building of the students." Chancellor appreciated the students on their performances. Earlier, Director SZABIST Islamabad in his welcome address said that Institute provided excellent sports facilities to its students and always focused on the performing arts activities to polish the creative abilities of students. At the end, Chancellor distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up of cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, sack race, declamation contest, solo performance, ad competition and singing competition.
