Campus Life Events   Events   Archives Students Call Upon Chairman Senate Farooq H Naik Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology (SZABIST) Media Sciences students called upon Chairman Senate Farooq H Naik at his office last week, here in Islamabad. The meeting was arranged by SZABIST Media Sciences department with an aim to provide the students with better understanding of Senate Session and its related activities. On this occasion Chairman Senate shared his views with the students about different proposed laws currently discussed in the upper house. He also briefed them about the role of standing committees in Senate. Chairman expressed the hope that he has great expectations from the youth, so the young generation must come forward & should play their role in the National Development. Mr. Naik also emphasized on the importance of Education by saying that youth should take part in politics but their first priority must be their education, as they can play their role IN politics more effetely after being educated. At the end of the meeting, students thanked the Chairman for not only giving his time but to sharing his valuable words and experiences.
