Aamir Idrees joined SZABIST family in
the pioneer batch of BCS, September 9, 2000, when there
was only one degree offered by SZABIST, Islamabad Campus.
He had a very friendly personality, not only his class
mates but students from all the batches knew him and were
his friends. He was also the "Class Representative"

and staff of the university.
The sad incident took place when he took the passenger

the bus collided near his hometown, Multan. The bus crashed
head-on into an oil tanker near the town of Shorkot, more
than 200 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital,
Lahore1. 24 People were killed in the accident; Amir Idrees
was one of them. He was returning home after almost four
months. He was the eldest son to his parents and was a
month away to get a BCS degree from SZABIST. He will always
