PhD (Management Sciences)


SZABIST offers a Ph.D Degree in Management Sciences that can be completed during the evenings in two to three years after the MS degree. 6 Ph.D courses and dissertation are required to graduate. A total of 48 credit hours must be completed.

Masters degrees with seventeen years of education are eligible to register in Ph.D degree [48 credits].

For non relevant degrees, the candidate will require to register for additional courses as core requirements as recommended by the Graduating committee.

In Management Sciences, specialized courses include Organizational Structure, e-Business Strategy, Human Resource Management & Development, International Business Strategy & Development, Leadership, Corporate Restructuring, Corporate Ethics & Governance, Marketing Communication, Advanced Financial, Management, Not-for-Profit Management and Organizational Development.

The total time to earn a Ph.D degree is a minimum of three years to a maximum of seven years.

For admission to the PhD Program, the candidate must have:

Eighteen years of education in a related field with minimum 1st division / CGPA 3.00 from a HEC recognized institution.
Passed the SZABIST PhD Entrance Examination (the candidate must also submit acceptable score on the GRE as per requirement of HEC during their first year of study) preference will be given to GRE/GAT-Special score holders.
Passed the Selection research proposal, defense / Interview with the SZABIST Graduate Committee.
