Dr. Qureshi has completed his PhD in Computer Science from COMSATS University, Islamabad Pakistan. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Butto Institute of Science and Technology, Islamabad. His research interests span the area of data-intensive real-time systems, resource allocation problems in HPC systems, and energy-efficient IoT.

He is the recipient of many awards including the Gold Medal in undergrad degree, HEC Pakistan Indigenous Scholarship for MS and PhD studies, Research Productivity Awards 2014 and 2015. He is the author of many research publications in refereed journals like Journal of Grid Computing, Parallel Computing, Parallel and Distributed Computing, and Sustainable Cities and Society.
